About the Western Ontario Microenterprise Association General Info | Office Space | Loan Program What is a Microenterprise? A microenterprise business can be defined as a sole proprietorship, partnership or family business. Typically these businesses have capital needs of less than $50,000 and have fewer than 5 employees. Many operate as home based businesses. Microentrepenuers are often excluded from traditional funding sources. A Microenterprise Loan Program is available through the WOLCDC for qualifying WOMA members.
